Dhaka, June 22 -- Bangladesh and Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance cooperation in the field of culture.

In addition, the two countries have exchanged two bilateral notes on cooperation in research and capacity building in counter-terrorism and investment.

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim held a one-on-one meeting in Malaysia's Putrajaya on Monday before joining a bilateral meeting alongside delegations from their respective countries.

The talks were followed by the signing ceremony.
