Bangladesh, China sign 13 MoUs covering investment, trade, education
Dhaka, June 25 -- Bangladesh and China have signed 13 cooperation agreements, broadening ties in areas ranging from investment and trade to education and media collaboration during Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's visit to Beijing.
The agreements were signed at the Great Hall of the People following talks led by Tarique and his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang on Thursday.
Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon, the director general of the Multilateral Economic Affairs wing and a senior foreign ministry official signed the agreements on behalf of Bangladesh.
