Dhaka, Oct. 8 -- Nazneen Sultana, additional director at the Bangladesh Bridge Authority, has been appointed the new deputy commissioner (DC) of Bandarban.

The public administration ministry confirmed the appointment on Thursday, with the order taking effect immediately in the "public interest".

Md Saniul Ferdous, a deputy secretary who had been serving in the role, has been attached to the ministry.
