Dhaka, April 1 -- A Dhaka court has issued an arrest warrant for four people, including two sons of Chattogram-6 MP Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury, for allegedly beating up an industrialist's wife and children while "occupying" his apartment in the capital's Gulshan.

Dhaka's Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sefatullah passed the order, cancelling their bail on Wednesday following an application by the plaintiff in the case, which also accuses the suspects of vandalism and looting during the alleged attack.

The sons of the lawmaker are Sameer Quader Chowdhury and Shakir Quader Chowdhury. The others facing the warrant are Marina Irshad and Ashiqur Rahman.
