Dhaka, Sept. 19 -- Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have spent years wondering whether they might actually be brothers.

Now they have made a television comedy out of it.

The longtime friends and "True Detective" co-stars play fictionalised versions of themselves in Apple TV's new series "Brothers", which takes one of Hollywood's stranger real-life rumours and imagines what might happen if it turned out to be true.

The eight-episode comedy, premiering Sept 23, begins with Harrelson moving his family into McConaughey's Texas ranch after his daughter's wedding falls apart.
