Dhaka, July 1 -- Another object that resembles an improvised bomb and a threatening note have allegedly been found in Meherpur's Gangni Upazila of Meherpur.

Unidentified individuals left the bomb-like object and the note at the gate of the home of a schoolteacher in Kasba village.

According to Gangni Police Station investigating officer Abdullah Al Mamun, local residents spotted the items on Wednesday morning and informed police.

Around 8am, police recovered the suspicious object from the scene and placed it in a bucket filled with water as a safety precaution.
