Bangladesh, July 28 -- Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (RUCSU) Vice-President Mostakur Rahman Zahid has accused journalists of publishing reports "against RUCSU and Islami Chhatra Shibir" over the alleged assault of three students on the campus.

He also threatened to take action against journalists over the coverage.

Zahid, accompanied by RUCSU General Secretary Salauddin Ammar, raised the allegations during a media briefing on Tuesday evening.

The RUCSU VP claimed that various media outlets had presented the clash "one-sidedly" in favour of the Chhatra League.
