Dhaka, March 16 -- American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has posted a strong result at the ICPC Asia West Continent Finals 2025, with its team "AIUB Modularity" finishing third among Bangladeshi teams and 35th overall.

The result marks a notable achievement for the university in the history of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), the university said in a statement.

The competition was organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) on Mar 7 and Mar 8, 2026.

One of the world's biggest programming contests, the ICPC is regarded as a major platform for testing and improving students' problem-solving and computing skills.
