Dhaka, May 19 -- The government has appointed MR Islam Shadhin as the administrator of the newly formed Bogura City Corporation.

The Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives issued a notice on the appointment on Monday.

The notice said that he will serve as the full-time administrator of the city corporation until the corporation is formed or until further orders are issued in accordance with Sub-Section (1) of Section 25A of the Local Government (City Corporation) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024.
