Actress Badhon 'harassed' in Italy, files complaint at police station
Bangladesh, Sept. 8 -- Actress Azmeri Haque Badhon has alleged that she was harassed while taking part in the Venice International Film Festival in Italy. She has already filed a complaint with the local police station seeking redress.
Badhon went live on her verified Facebook page, saying that a group of expatriates threw "water and rotten eggs" at her while she was in Venice on Monday night local time.
She alleged, "Some leaders and activists of the Venice Awami League and Chhatra League perpetrated this incident because of my support for the movement of July-August 2024."
