Dhaka, May 17 -- A massive fire has broken out on the Rajdhani Express, bound from India's Thiruvananthapuram to the capital New Delhi, in Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam, reports Indian broadcaster NDTV.

The blaze sparked around 5:15am on an air-conditioned coach carrying 68 passengers, officials said. However, they claim no one was injured.

The incident occurred between the Vikramgarh Alot and Luni Richha stations and also damaged the second luggage-cum-guard van (SLR) attached to the rear of the AC coach.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

The affected coach was detached from the rake, and the overhead electric supply (OHE) was switched off to ensure safety, NDTV said.
