Dhaka, Oct. 6 -- Bangladesh has recorded six more deaths with measles symptoms in a day, alongside 102 newly confirmed cases.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its bulletin on Tuesday that symptom-related deaths this year have reached 1,032.

Another 102 died of confirmed measles, bringing the total toll to 1,134.

Dhaka Division tops the death count with 468, with Sylhet next at 179. Rajshahi has 93, Chattogram 90, Mymensingh 80, Barishal 61, Khulna 45 and Rangpur 16.

Over the past 24 hours, 1,291 people with measles symptoms have arrived at hospitals across the country, with 1,180 admitted.

Among the new admissions, 371 are in Dhaka Division, 260 in Chattogram, 163 in Sylhet, 123 in Barishal, 111 in Khulna, 85...
