Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- Forty-seven vehicles and an equal number of drivers have been kept ready in front of the Ministry of Public Administration at the Secretariat for the new cabinet members.

The vehicles were brought from the government transport pool after 10:30am on Tuesday.

An official from the Department of Government Vehicles told bdnews24.com that authorities have not yet been informed how many vehicles will ultimately be sent.

"Yesterday (Monday), 37 were prepared, and today 10 more were sent to the Secretariat to make it 47," the official said.

"No instructions have come from the cabinet yet. We have kept the same number of drivers ready. As per the instructions, cars for the new ministers will be sent to the parliament building...
