44-year-old Bangladeshi man among Delhi hotel fire victims: High Commission
Dhaka, June 5 -- The Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi has confirmed the identity of the Bangladeshi national killed along with 21 others in a devastating fire at a hotel in the Indian capital.
"Md Nurul Amin, 44, is among the 22 nationals from seven countries who tragically lost their lives in the incident," the mission said in a Facebook post late on Thursday night.
They were staying in the hotel in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar to receive treatment at the nearby Max Hospital, it said.
The dead include at least 12 foreigners.
The High Commission said it was working to ensure the speedy repatriation of Amin's remains.
