Dhaka, Oct. 6 -- Education Minister Ehsanul Hoque Milon has announced that students in Class 4 and Class 6 will receive four new textbooks under the revised national curriculum starting from the 2027 academic year.

Inaugurating the 53rd National Summer Sports Competition at Language Martyr Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla on Tuesday, Milon explained that the 2027 curriculum introduces "Sports" and "Cultural Practice" for Class 4 alongside "Joyful Learning" and "Vocational Education" for Class 6.

He added that required modifications and adjustments across textbooks for all other grade levels will take effect from 2028.
