Dhaka, June 29 -- Bangladesh has registered four more child deaths linked to measles symptoms in a day, with 141 new cases confirmed in the same period.

The total number of suspected measles cases since the start of the outbreak has hit 101,211, while the number of confirmed cases has risen to 11,851.

In its regular measles bulletin on Monday, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said that 93 people have died of confirmed cases of measles across the country since Mar 15.

In addition, 623 people with suspected measles cases have also died over the time frame.

The Dhaka Division has logged the highest number of symptomatic fatalities so far at 268.
