Dhaka, Sept. 27 -- A Dhaka court has sent three people to jail following their arrest in a case over vandalism, looting, and theft at the New Gini Properties housing project in South Manikdi near Dhaka's ECB Chattar.

Subrata Debnath, the investigating officer and inspector at Cantonment Police Station, produced the defendants in court on Sunday and petitioned for a five-day remand.

Metropolitan Magistrate Arifur Rahman sent the suspects to prison and scheduled the remand hearing for Wednesday, Prosecution Sub-Inspector Tarequr Rahman said.

The three individuals sent to prison are Md Mamun, Md Aslam, and Md Munna.

The attack, vandalism, and looting occurred at New Gini Properties Ltd around 10:30pm on Saturday.
