Dhaka, Feb. 27 -- Three members of a family have suffered burn injuries in a fire caused by a gas leak at their home in Old Dhaka's Narinda.

They were taken to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 1am on Friday, said Assistant Prof Shawon Bin Rahman.

The victims are Moktar Bepari, 55, Selina Akhter, 45, and Mohammad Selim, 33.

Shawon said Moktar suffered burns to 22 percent of his body, Selina 20 percent, and Selim 100 percent.

All three are undergoing treatment in critical condition, he added.
