Dhaka, May 13 -- Three more children with measles-like symptoms have died in the Sylhet Division in the latest 24- hour report.

Mohammad Noore Alam Shamim, assistant director at the Office of the Director of Health in Sylhet, said the children died with measles symptoms while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The deaths have taken to the total toll of children in the Sylhet Division to 31.

Two of the children died at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.

They gave been identified as Hafiza Akhter, a two-year-old resident of Kanaighat Upazila, and Raisa Jannat, a one-year-and-five-month-old resident of Sunamganj's Jagannathpur.
