Dhaka, June 15 -- More than two dozen murders and over a hundred unnatural deaths have occurred in Cumilla over the past two months. During the same period, more than 600 cases were filed over various crimes.

The data was presented at the monthly meeting of the district law and order committee held on Sunday in the deputy commissioner's office.

The meeting was chaired by Cumilla Deputy Commissioner Md Reza Hasan and attended by Police Superintendent Md Anisuzzaman, along with officials from different units of the law enforcing agencies and heads of various government departments.
