Bangladesh, Aug. 7 -- Another shooting has occurred in Dhaka's Pallabi in the span of two weeks. Two people have now been injured in a drive-by shooting.

The attack was due to a prior dispute over drug trafficking, police say.

Hasan Bashir, chief of Pallabi Police Station, said: "Three rounds of ammunition have been fired targeting an individual named Alamgir Hossain (45) from a moving vehicle in Pallabi's Millat Camp No. 2 around 5:45pm on Friday. A pedestrian named Josna Begum, who was crossing the road, was also shot.

"Police inspected the scene after the accident and, in addition to collecting CCTV footage from nearby, have started working to identify those involved."
