Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- "Imagine your daughter calling you saying, 'I think I'm being followed by some men.' Imagine her walking home alone at night, constantly looking over her shoulder. Imagine her phone dying before she reaches home."

Indian actor Kriti Sanon used those words in a Daughter's Day post highlighting the everyday fears and precautions many women live with, NDTV reports.

Sharing her thoughts on social media, Kriti asked people to imagine a daughter calling home because she feels she is being followed, walking alone at night or finding herself without a working phone before reaching home.
