Dhaka, Oct. 16 -- Bollywood star Salman Khan has spoken about his decision to remain unmarried, saying it was entirely his choice, while revealing that he hopes to have children one day.

The 60-year-old actor made the remarks during his appearance on the opening episode of the ninth and final season of filmmaker Karan Johar's celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan, the Indian Express reports.

Salman, who has long kept his relationships away from the public eye, said he was happy with the choice and had no one else to blame.

"Nobody stopped me from getting married; I stopped myself," he said.
