Dhaka, May 31 -- The death toll from a road crash in Netrokona Sadar Upazila has risen to four.

The latest death in the head-on collision between a passenger bus and a battery-powered autorickshaw, known locally as "easybike", claimed the life of the easybike driver Raihan Mia.

The crash occurred around 11:30am on Sunday on the Netrokona-Mymensingh Highway.

Raihan was initially taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment around 3:45pm, said Aminul Islam, a constable at the hospital police outpost.

Two other injured passengers are receiving treatment at Netrokona Sadar Hospital.
