Dhaka, April 23 -- Joy has quickly turned into devastation for a Bangladeshi couple in Malaysia, as a road accident involving an allegedly intoxicated driver cut short their holiday just after they had arrived in Kuala Lumpur.

The husband was killed and his wife left injured, reports the New Straits Times.

The dead, Muzahid Millad, 22, had travelled with his wife, Nafisa Tabassum Adiba, 20, from Habiganj for a week-long vacation, marking their second visit to Malaysia.

The couple had just landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Thursday morning, moments before the incident unfolded.
