United Kingdom, April 1 -- Samsung has launched a new free app to help reduce the symptoms of motion sickness with sound.

The tech giant has launched the Hearapy app for Android devices in the Google Play store, using a low 100Hz wave tone to reduce feelings of nausea and other symptoms.

The app listing reads: "Motion sickness affects 3 out of 10 travellers and can turn any trip into a nightmare.

"With the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and the Hearapy app, relaxed travel is possible: A clear 100Hz bass tone stimulates your balance system and promotes well-being on the go."

Users are advised to "listen to the 100Hz bass tone in the Hearapy app for 60 seconds" before you go on your journey.
