United Kingdom, April 21 -- OpenAI boss Sam Altman is adamant that AI is good for the film industry.

The tech chief feels that the technology will be a positive thing for Hollywood and will not be as harmful for the movie business as many fear.

Asked about concerns about AI leading to job cuts and less creativity, Altman told Variety: "I think people really care about other people.

"I think people really care about the human beings behind the stories and the art and the creative work that matters so much, so my instinct is it's going to go the other way and people will care more about humans and more about human creators in the future, not less."
