Minecraft is down for all users
United Kingdom, June 1 -- Minecraft is currently down for all users due to an unknown error.
The sandbox block game from Mojang is inaccessible with its first major widespread outage since the global Microsoft Azure cloud disruption in October 2025, which impacted Minecraft authentication and Xbox Live.
At around 8:30am in the UK on June 1, players began reporting problems launching the game to Downdetector.
The website shows a spike in the morning, with reports still filtering in around four hours later.
When users try and access the game via the Minecraft Launcher, they get the message: "Oh no!
"Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services. Please connect to the internet to refresh your offline access."
