Microsoft promises cleaner and less cluttered Windows 11 search menu
United Kingdom, July 14 -- Microsoft has unveiled plans for a cleaner version of the Windows 11 search menu.
The tech giant is rolling out a decluttered Search Box to Windows Insiders in its Experimental channel in a move that rids the box of ads and recommended content.
In a blog post, Windows' Jeff Petty and Bing Search's Anderson Aiziro wrote: "You've been asking for search that is faster, more relevant, and easier to use - whether you're opening an app, finding a file, or changing a setting.
"Because the Windows Search Box is where many people start, we focused first on making results more dependable, easier to scan, and clearer before you click."
