United Kingdom, July 28 -- Hundreds of conversations with Anthropic's Claude artificial intelligence chatbot were recently discovered to be publicly accessible online after shared chat links appeared in search engine results.

The exposed conversations could be found through site-specific searches on platforms such as Google, allowing anyone to access chat logs that users had previously chosen to share.

Although the conversations were made public through Claude's sharing feature, users were not necessarily aware that the links could become searchable and indexed by search engines.
