Widow's Bay is big winner on Creative Arts Emmys night 2 as Betty Gilpin wins guest prize
United Kingdom, Sept. 7 -- Widow's Bay was the big winner on night two of the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday night (06.09.26), scooping eight accolades.
Betty Gilpin was among the victors for the Apple TV show, taking home the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series prize.
The 40-year-old actress saw off competition from a quintet of Hacks stars, Leslie Bibb, Cherry Jones, Laurie Metcalf, Kaitlin Olson and Lauren Weedman, as well as The Bear's Jamie Lee Curtis to land the gong.
Betty - who portrayed 18th century Sarah Westcott in Widow's Bay - read a long poem she had written on her phone upon accepting the award.
