United Kingdom, March 19 -- Whoopi Goldberg admits her sex life is made up of "hit-and-runs" when she "needs it".

The 70-year-old star - who has been divorced three times - has got candid about her love life as she discussed a woman in a Cosmopolitan essay who is in a long-term relationship but misses her single life including nights out and casual flings.

Speaking on The View, Whoopi said: "I bar hop, I go hang. I am single.

"I do hit-and-runs when I need it, but I am not married to anybody [and] I don't have responsibilities."

The Sister Act star has been opened about her views on traditional relationships, admitted that as she got older she reassessed her views.
