United Kingdom, Oct. 20 -- Victoria Beckham's daughter Harper Beckham begged her to ring her school and persuade them to let her wear make-up.

The 52-year-old fashion designer has told how the 15 year old was horrified that make-up was banned from school, so much so she questioned why her teachers don't want her to "look [her] best".

During an appearance on a Today show segment, Commuter Beauty, Victoria was asked by journalist Zanna Roberts Rassi how she stopped Harper wearing make-up so young.

She replied: "She does it quite naturally. She's really good at applying make-up.

"Quite recently she said, 'They've told me that I'm not allowed to wear make-up for school.'

"She said, 'Why don't they want me to look my best?'
