United Kingdom, June 25 -- Travis Kelce's dad is "super excited" for his son's wedding to Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is expected to marry the I Knew It, I Knew You hitmaker in the next few weeks, and Ed Kelce is delighted that the 36-year-old pop superstar is set to be his daughter-in-law.

Speaking to Fox 29 Philly, Ed said of the impending nuptials: "I am super excited.

"She is a sweetheart. That is truly the girl next door."

Meanwhile, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is also looking forward to the wedding and revealed he is thinking of breaking a rule the couple have set for the big day.
