United Kingdom, Sept. 2 -- Travis Kelce bought a new house just a few months before marrying Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot with the Opalite singer in July after three years together, and it has now emerged that back in March, he splashed out $5.35 million on a lakefront mansion in Cleveland, Ohio, which is just a few miles from where he grew up.

The Agency Cleveland, which represented either side of the purchase, told the Wall Street Journal: "We're thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland."

Travis is the sole owner of the eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom property, which features more than 21,000 sq ft of living space and is set on 3.5 acres along Lake Erie.
