United Kingdom, June 18 -- Travis Barker's new documentary was nearly scrapped.

The 50-year-old musician is the focus of a documentary, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer, and the Blink-182 star has revealed how the documentary - which explores Travis' life and music career - has evolved over the years.

Travis - who battled trauma after a 2008 plane crash left him with a fear of flying - told People: "It seems surreal.
