United Kingdom, July 1 -- Tori Spelling has admitted she cried more over co-star Shannen Doherty's death than her own father's.

The actress, who appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210 opposite Shannen, told Michael Rosenbaum on his podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum that she was devastated when Shannen died in 2024 aged 53.

In fact, she was more overcome with emotion following Shannen's passing than when her dad Aaron passed in 2006 aged 83.

She admitted: "I had more of an emotional, outward reaction when Shan passed than my own father."

When asked why she thinks that might be, Tori mused: "I was younger then - I mean it was 20 years ago. I think I had every feeling so repressed. I didn't know how to deal with my feelings."
