United Kingdom, Aug. 30 -- Tom Felton has playfully criticised Harry Potter's filmmakers over how they aged his alter ego Draco Malfoy in The Deathly Hallows - Part 2.

The actor said ageing the character for the 19-year time jump took "quite a lot of research", including looking at pictures of his three older brothers and his dad's "hairlines" and "their facial complexion" to work out what Draco "would look like 19 years later".

The 2011 movie's epilogue showed the main characters, including Draco, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), as adults sending their children to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

But Tom joked that his aged-up look "seemed rather unfair" compared ...
