United Kingdom, April 22 -- Teyana Taylor has formed a "close bond" with her idol Janet Jackson.

The 35-year-old actress/musician was a huge fan of the pop superstar, 59, when she was growing up and they were introduced via a surprise video call after Teyana missed her chance to attend one of Janet's concerts in 2017 when her flight was cancelled due to bad weather. They went on to meet in 2022 when Janet came to see Teyana perform in London and the music star has revealed they've become good friends over the last few years.
