United Kingdom, July 16 -- Taylor Swift insisted no guest should lose their place on The Graham Norton Show when she joined the BBC programme.

In what host Graham Norton described as a "very last-minute" booking while the singer, 36, was promoting her The Life of a Showgirl album, Taylor was added to the show line-up for the October edition of the long-running chat series after the programme had already reached capacity.

Speaking in a new interview with British GQ, Graham recalled producers initially believed another celebrity would have to be removed from the sofa to make room for Taylor.

Instead, he said, the request came back from Taylor nobody should be replaced for her sake.
