United Kingdom, May 18 -- Sylvester Stallone has marked 29 years of marriage to Jennifer Flavin with a heartfelt social media tribute.

Nearly three years after the couple briefly split and appeared headed for divorce, the 79-year-old Rocky star shared a photograph of himself and Jennifer, 57, embracing in an armchair as the couple toasted the 17 May anniversary of their 1997 wedding.

Sylvester and Jennifer first met at a restaurant in 1988 before building one of Hollywood's longest-running celebrity marriages.

Together they share daughters Sophia Stallone, 29, Sistine Stallone, 27, and Scarlet Stallone, 24, all of whom appeared alongside their parents in the family reality series The Family Stallone on Paramount+.
