United Kingdom, Feb. 27 -- Suzanne Shaw broke down in tears as she revealed her "messy and unexpected" split from fiance Sam Greenfield.

Telling her followers she is now entering "the era of having the greatest love affair with myself", the 44-year-old former Hear'Say singer shared the news of the break-up in an emotional Instagram video on Friday (27.02.26), confirming she and Sam Greenfield separated in January.

Suzanne, who became engaged to Sam in 2014 and welcomed their son Rafferty, 10, in 2015, added she had stepped back from social media while navigating the breakup.
