United Kingdom, April 29 -- Stranger Things: Tales From '85 has been renewed for a second season just days after the new series dropped.

The Netflix animated spinoff show exploring the Hawkins gang - which is set between seasons two and 3 of the main series - is returning for more episodes and stories from the beloved franchise.

Speaking to Tudum, showrunner Eric Robles said: "Working on Season 1 has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

"Now that it's out in the world, seeing fans connect with these characters - whether they've loved them for years or are just meeting them for the first time - has been truly special.
