United Kingdom, June 13 -- Spencer Pratt has appeared to concede in his race to become the next mayor of Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old reality TV star took on incumbent mayor Karen Bass and Los Angeles City Councillor Nithya Raman, and had been hotly tipped to make it through to the general election of the mayoral race this November.

However, following the primary election on June 2, Spencer received 25.8% of the vote, putting him in third place and taking him out of the running.

While US President Donald Trump had called the result of the primary an example of election fraud, Spencer appeared to have accepted the people's votes in a video he shared on X which seemed to be his concession speech.
