United Kingdom, May 29 -- Sir Paul McCartney "can remember being born" but the early memory is "highly dubious".

The Beatles legend made the revelation in a new interview with the Guardian newspaper in which he was asked to recall the earliest sounds he can remember hearing - and McCartney went one step further by revealing he can actually remember sights and sounds from the moment he first arrived in the world in Liverpool, England on 18 June 1942.

He told the publication: "OK, well, now we get into dubious territory, because I have a feeling I can remember being born.

"Highly dubious, highly dubious, but I feel the white tiles and chrome instruments and the sounds . "
