United Kingdom, April 15 -- Sir Mick Jagger is his family's "tour guide".

The 82-year-old rocker has spent decades travelling the world with the Rolling Stones and he has always urged his eight children to be curious about their surroundings and engaging with the area they are in in a variety of ways including visiting museums and learning local history.

His daughter Georgia May Jagger, 34, told People magazine: "He's always like, 'You've got to know about the history of where you are."

Her sister Lizzy, 42, agreed Mick is the family "tour guide" who always urged his brood to: "Be educated, know your history, and be a good traveller!"

Lizzy also credited the Paint it Black singer for her great wardrobe.

She said: "I am the same pants...
