United Kingdom, Sept. 29 -- Selma Blair has assured fans that a "health-related" issue that came up recently was "nothing scary".

The 54-year-old actress - who suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS) - took to Instagram on Monday (28.09.26) to reveal that "one of those things" she was going to get to this year "suddenly couldn't wait".

She wrote: "Something health-related came up recently. Nothing scary (I promise), just one of those things I was going to get to this year anyway, and then suddenly it couldn't wait.

"But anyone who has spent as much of their life in doctors' offices as I have knows what even a planned appointment costs. "The energy. The day. The bracing. An unplanned one can take over everything."
