United Kingdom, April 17 -- Sandra Bullock reportedly took a four-year career break to "heal" following the death of her longtime partner Bryan Randall to Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The photographer lost his three-year battle with the terminal neurodegenerative disease, which causes progressive muscle weakness, in August 2023 at the age of 57.

And it has been said that actress Sandra, who cared for Bryan, ensured she and her children, son Louis, 16, and 11-year-old daughter Laila - whom she adopted in 2010 and 2015, respectively - were in a good place before she reappeared in the public eye on Tuesday (14.04.26) at CinemaCon, Las Vegas.
