United Kingdom, Aug. 25 -- Sandra Bullock has told how her "very astute" children handled her late partner Bryan Randall's battle with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) "very differently".

The 62-year-old star's longtime love passed away in August 2023, aged 57, after losing his three-year battle with the terminal neurodegenerative disease, and she has admitted her son Louis, 16, and daughter Laila, 12, were "completely aware" about the photographer's illness.

Speaking on the SmartLess podcast about how her kids were when Bryan was battling the disease, she said: "Oh, completely aware. Absolutely aware, because eventually, once there is a situation where you're bedridden, we all have to go there.
