United Kingdom, July 16 -- Sam Asghari feels "nothing but love" for Britney Spears.

The 32-year-old model and actor split from the Toxic hitmaker, 44, just over a year after they got married in June 2022, and he insisted he wants to remain "respectful of the past" and what they shared together.

He told Extra: "I always like to stay respectful of the past. I love to celebrate the past and, you know, what happens in your life in every chapter...

"It's nothing but love and nothing but experiences that you get to learn."

Earlier this year, Sam was glad to see his ex-wife check into rehab weeks after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol (DUI) in Ventura, California in early March.
